About Georgia and the Caucasus

I managed to see a lot of places in Georgia with help of BWE people, but I’ll never forget a trip to Racha – the most underrated and picturesque area in the whole country! You should definitely go there: Daria knows a lot about local customs, and it will be definitely fun. I would have never tasted the cuisine from Racha and real Khvanchkara wine, but I was lucky to have such an amazing trip planned. Thank you!
My boyfriend and I have been to Georgia twice, and we will come back again for the grape harvest. It’s something sacred here, we are craving to experience it from inside! During our previous trips we made sure that the “Birthplace of Wine Experience” is the name that speaks for itself, so we trust the guys completely! They have taken us to the winemakers’ families, we had cooking and singing classes, and it was so soulful, so warm that we are dreaming to come back.
I would have never ever thought that Georgian drinking scene is something more than Saperavi, Kindzmarauli and, well, chacha. That’s what we know in Poland. I was so happy that I got a two-day wine tour with BWE to my birthday! It opened my eyes, really. So ancient, such an unbelievable tradition that survived a lot! Very, very recommended.
